HELLO RVA strives to celebrate the vibrant culture of Richmond, Virginia.
featuring interviews and portraits of local business owners,
artists, advocates for change and every-day people.

This project was born out of a desire to meet new people and make meaningful connections. Since its beginnings, it has evolved from random portraits of strangers into a platform for others to find their voices and share their stories. There’s more to people than meets the eye and we’re here to explore and celebrate them - and our city - in any way we can. Hello RVA is a passion project headed up by Lindsey Windett of Windett Photography. She is a Virginia native with an extensive background of over ten years working in the photographic field. You can also find her shooting commercial photography and behind the scenes with the Richmond production company Journey Seven as well as assisting in photography and editing for 88 Love Stories.
